Evoking Changes in Social Injustices by Arts In Education

The mission of Our Town’s Performing Art’s Center is to provide high class recreational education integrated with the visual and performing arts. We allow our students to freely express themselves while utilizing their creativity to make changes within our community and within ourselves.

FOUNDER & CEO

“The arts are an essential element of education, just like reading, writing, and arithmetic…music, dance, painting, and theater are all keys that unlock profound human understanding and accomplishment.”

–William Bennett, Former US Secretary of Education

I created this foundation to aid children and adults to chase their dreams. A lot of people think that the arts are solely for performing purposes and they encourage pipeline dreams that'll never come true. That is far from the case. In fact, encouraging your children to engage and interact in the fine arts builds stamina, quality practice habits, and builds interpersonal & communication skills through collaborations and teamwork. Our non-profit plans on not only teaching our students the ins and outs of the entertainment industry but also relating the fine arts to their career goals and showing how the basic skills intertwines with everyday life. This foundation plans to support our community by producing full productions, providing after school care, creating festivals and galas and simply being a safe creative space for our brothers and sisters.  I hope to reach and touch the community as you all have touched me.

Love always,
